Dr. Warnock was raised in Salt Lake City and attended college and medical school at the University of Utah. He completed his general surgery training at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Southern California. He completed his plastic surgery fellowship at Summa Health  System in Akron, Ohio. He then returned to Utah and completed a craniofacial fellowship at Primary Children’s Medical Center. In 2000, Dr. Warnock started practice in the Salt Lake City area. 

Dr. Warnock is board certified in Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons and numerous national surgical societies.  He is on the teaching faculty at the University of Utah and is the current Chief of Plastic Surgery at Primary Children’s Medical Center.  He also serves as one of the staff surgeons on the Cleft Lip/Craniofacial Panel at PCMC.  Dr. Warnock has volunteered in numerous third world surgical service missions providing pediatric reconstructive and cleft related care.
